A Midsummer Knight’s Read: Medieval Madness at the Des Plaines Public Library!

Lords and Ladies of all ages! Come forth and celebrate the dawn of a new Summer Reading Club! Join us for our Midsummer Knight’s Read Medieval Faire Kickoff Event on Saturday, June 4 any time between 1-4 p.m. This event is your first opportunity to sign up for the Summer Reading Club and dive into the medieval world for a few hours. Enjoy tons of library fun!

When the music has ended and the snacks are gone, though, don’t forget that the Medieval Madness continues all summer long at the library. Beginning Saturday, June 4 and continuing through Sunday, July 31, the Des Plaines Public Library will host a variety of activities and programs for families, children, and adults through our children’s, teen, and adult Summer Reading Clubs. You can become eligible to win wonderful prizes when you read or listen to books, and you will enjoy a full calendar of princely programs. Let your imagination be your guide this summer at DPPL!
