Early Head Start Program Enrolling for In-Home Care at Holy Family Medical Center

Des Plaines, Illinois – Resurrection Behavioral Health’s Early Head Start Program at Holy Family Medical Center, 100 North River Road, in Des Plaines is enrolling children from birth through the age of two as well as pregnant women. The program offers free weekly in-home visits of 90 minutes to families who meet income eligibility.

Early Head Start features infant and toddler growth and development plans, pre- and post-natal education, and other health education and self-sufficiency training for parents. Family events are also held twice a month for families to gather for child-parent play activities and a parent-training on various topics is offered monthly.

The free programming is made possible through a federally funded CEDA grant. Families living in Des Plaines, Glenview, Mt. Prospect, Arlington Heights, Prospect Heights, Rolling Meadows and Wheeling may apply.

Also serving children with disabilities.

I believe the aldermen are Denise Rodd south of Dempster and Dick Sayad north. Contact them.Read More Although I do not live in Rodd's ward (Im in the 8th) I am somehow on her mailing list and she keeps wanting to know what she can do for me. Here is something.

I suggest contacting the alderman to raise the profile of what these streets need.
