A Chance to Win Lunch with the Mayor

The Village of Niles is promoting a Children’s Writing Contest, “Why Niles is the Best Place to Live.” The contest is open to all Niles writers in grades 4-8. The top essay will be published in the spring edition of Focus on Niles and the writer of the essay will be taken to lunch by Mayor Andrew Przybylo.

Meadows’ Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament Quickly Approaching

The Rolling Meadows Athletic Booster Club is sponsoring its 19th Annual Mustang 3-on-3 Shootout Basketball Tournament on Sunday, Dec. 22. Kids to adults will have an opportunity to show off their hoops skills while getting some exercise before stuffing themselves with a holiday meal. Moms can also take this opportunity to get the kids out the house and get those last minute holiday chores completed.

It's Your LUCKY Day!!

Yes that's right, because LUCKY the orphan pooch is waiting for you! This poor gal spent eight long months in an overcrowded rural shelter in Missouri. She was crated almost the entire time; awful what some dogs go through, isn't it? But you can help her now by giving her a loving forever home.
