Tom Mullick, club president, said it was gratifying to watch members significantly improve their photography skills after being members of the club for a short period of time, perhaps two to three years.
"These are photos that people have learned to take by attending the Des Plaines Camera Club," Mullick said. "We give classes, seminars, field trips and have fun with photography."
Mullick said club members also receive photography tips on a regular basis.
Des Plaines Camera Club members, led by former club president Jerry Hug, will provide instruction for four photo editing classes offered by the Des Plaines Park District Jan. 8, Jan. 10, Jan. 15 and Jan. 17 in the same place where the club's meetings are held, at .
