Des Plaines Lady Elks Host "Aloha - Share the Spirit" Spring Luncheon Fashion Show

Tickets are now on sale for the Des Plaines Ladies of the Elks "Aloha - Share the Spirit" Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show 11 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Elks Club, 495 Lee Street.  Tickets, which are $27 each, are available at the Elks Club Lounge or by calling Jan Stein at 224-678-3506 until Wednesday, March 26, 2014.

Fashions by Christopher & Banks will be featured.  Attendees who bring a non-perishable food item for the Des Plaines Self-Help Closet & Pantry will receive a free raffle ticket.  Lunch will include chicken marsala, fresh fruit and strawberry parfait.  A cash bar will be provided.

Proceeds from the event will assist in financing scholarships to area high school seniors and donations to charitable organizations.  Last year the Des Plaines Ladies of the Elks awarded six $500 scholarships and contributed money to numerous Veteran organizations, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the American Heart Association, and the Alzheimer's Association, to mention a few.
