Citizens for Carol A. Teschky Fundraiser a Big Hit

Over 150 friends, supporters and elected officials gathered on Oct. 29 at Countryside Eatery in Des Plaines to show support for the candidacy of Carol A. Teschky to be the next Republican Committeeman for Maine Township. Since first elected to office in 1989, Teschky has been elected numerous times as a Republican to a range of public offices as well as many leadership positions at the local, regional and state levels. Twice elected Supervisor of Maine Township, she is also the current President of the Township Officials of Cook County.

She told the crowd that night that she is running to revitalize local efforts to get more Republicans elected at all levels. Teschky promised a return to the basics such as having regular meetings but also “go the extra mile” to build support, raise funds and get out the vote for all Republicans. Shown here, l to r, are Clerk Gary K. Warner, Trustee Laura Morask, Trustee Peter Gialamas, Teschky, Cook County Commissioner Elizabeth “Liz” Doody Gorman, Trustee Walter Kazmierczak, Trustee Susan Moylan Krey and Highway Commissioner Robert Provenzano. Teschky led the Republican slate to clean sweeps in the last two Township elections.
