Christmas in July: DP Optimists to show Elf on July 12th

The steamy July heat may make Christmas seem years away, but the Optimist Club of Des Plaines knows it will be here in less than six months. With that in mind, they are proudly screening the second film of the Movies in the Park season on Friday, July 12th at Lake Park. "Elf", the 2003 Will Ferrel- Zooey Deschanel hit will be shown at dusk at the Veteran's Memorial. As always, there is no charge for the film. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
