Presence Holy Family Medical Center will host the 5th annual Fun Fest from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3 at 100 N. River Road. Participants will enjoy a variety of family friendly activities, including free health screenings and assessments, children's activities, raffles and more, a press release states.

Kids are encouraged to bring a teddy bear or doll for a check-up, try out the Lattof YMCA climbing wall and partake in library story time. Ladies can enjoy an Avon makeover or a chair massage. Learn about local organizations and chat with elected officials, a press release states.
The first 400 children between the ages of 5 and 17 who attend the event will receive a backpack filled with school supplies. Those who pre-register can use express check-in on event day. First come, first served – so get there early.
This year’s event is co-sponsored by Presence Holy Family Medical Center and the Des Plaines Healthy Community Partnership.
