Looking for fun things to do in Des Plaines? The Des Plaines Park District has several fun activities this week:

July 31, Des Plaines Park District's final Park It! Patrol event of the season.

6:30 p.m., Mohawk Park, 515 Lyman Avenue. Activities include beach ball volleyball, badminton, croquet, frisbee golf, bags, relay races, games, and crafts. Also, professional magician, Gary Kantor, will be in the park doing close-up magic and slight of hand.

The Music Man August 1-4: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm; Sundays at 2:00pm.
