All aboard! The Polar Express rides again!
Come along with us on one of our most popular events and listen to the story of the Polar Express as we travel to the North Pole.* You’ll enjoy sing-a-longs, games, chocolate milk and cookies, and a visit from Santa.
Registration deadline is 5:00pm Friday November 18, but space is limited and seats go fast, so sign up early.
There will be two train rides per day this year. Check in is at the Des Plaines Train Station on Miner between Pearson and Lee Streets.
• Strollers are not allowed on trains.
• There must be at least one parent for every three children.
*The North Pole looks a bit like Harvard, IL

Administrative & Leisure Center
The Administrative and Leisure Center is the location for the Des Plaines Park District's administrative offices and staff.
It is also host to large number of leisure activities and facilities such as a gymnasium, a fully equipped Health Center, the Des Plaines School of Dance Studios, and the popular Des Plaines Teen Center.
The Teen Center features a study area, computers, board games, a big-screen TV and DVD player. There is a Game Room with air hockey, billiards, Dance Dance Revolution, Playstation 2 and 3, XBox360 and Gamecube.
Outdoor activities feature a baseball diamond and a children's playground. Rooms are available for rent for private parties and meetings. Preschool and early childhood classes are available.
