T-shirts will be given to the first 300 registered runners and walkers.
This is a flat course, through residential streets in downtown Des Plaines. The race is run, rain or shine. Water will be available at the start, finish, and on the course. Splits are provided at every mile. Refreshments are provided. Free parking.

More About Des Plaines History Center
Since 1967, Des Plaines History Center has been devoted to preserving all historical material related to Des Plaines and bringing together history buffs in the community. Its collection houses more than 31,000 objects and documents from the 19th and 20th centuries. It hosts lectures, tours, Boy and Girl Scout programs and participates in and helps organize festivals throughout the year. The center also contains a museum and gift shop.
