SCORE - Counselors to America's Small Business - is a not for profit association established in 1964. Mentors are existing or retired business owners and executives with years of successful experience in a wide variety of business issues like finance, sales/marketing and business plans.
SCORE Chicago's 130 volunteers are dedicated to helping small businesses aspire, grow and succeed including new business start-ups as well as existing businesses through education and mentorship. FREE lifetime, confidential small business mentoring is available in person at the Des Plaines Public Library or also via Email or the Internet.
SCORE mentors take appointments at the Des Plaines Public Library on most Thursday's of each month at 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

More About Des Plaines Public Library
Des Plaines Public Library houses a vast collection of books, CDs, DVDs, magazines and music. The four-story building is one the largest public libraries in the Chicagoland area. It offers free wi-fi and services for the vision- and hearing-impaired. There are meeting rooms that can be reserved for public use and it hosts regular events for kids, teens and adults, like Family Movie Night.
