For ages 4+
Pack up the kids, your tent and sleeping bags for a family camp-out in beautiful Prairie Lakes Field. You’ll enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and games, while sharing an experience that will create lasting memories, in this “close-to-home” campsite with a perfect view of the night sky. With a telescope and binoculars, Oakton Community College’s Astronomy Club will provide stories and information about the starry sky above us. Participants supply their own camping gear; we provide snacks, activities, and a light breakfast.

Located in Prairie Lakes Park, Prairie Lakes Community Center features a state-of-the-art fitness center, an indoor walking and jogging track, racquetball and walleyball courts, locker rooms, showers, a sauna, a whirlpool, a baby sitting center, a dance studio, a theatre and multi-purpose rooms available for party and event rentals.
