 North River Road\, in Des Plaines is enrolling children from birth throu
 gh the age of two as well as pregnant women. The program offers free wee
 kly in-home visits of 90 minutes to families who meet income eligibility
 .\nEarly Head Start features infant and toddler growth and development p
 lans\, pre- and post-natal education\, and other health education and se
 lf-sufficiency training for parents. Family events are also held twice a
  month for families to gather for child-parent play activities and a par
 ent-training on various topics is offered monthly.\nThe free programming
  is made possible through a federally funded CEDA grant. Families living
  in Des Plaines\, Glenview\, Mt. Prospect\,&nbsp\;Arlington Heights\, Pr
 ospect Heights\, Rolling Meadows and Wheeling may apply.\nAlso serving c
