DESCRIPTION:One of the oldest camera clubs in northern Illinois\, the Des
  Plaines Camera Club was formed in in 1952 by a group of individuals who
  shared an interest in photography.&nbsp\; The club provides encourageme
 nt and education to members\, to expand their interest in photography.&n
 bsp\; We learn from one another\, and have an outlet for our creative in
 terests.&nbsp\; Meetings include workshops\, lectures and demonstrations
  in computer programs and digital photography\, as well as club competit
 ion.&nbsp\; The club is a member of The Chicago Area Camera Clubs Associ
 ation\, and participates in their monthly inter-club competition.&nbsp\;
