Des Plaines Camera Club Semimonthly Meeting
One of the oldest camera clubs in northern Illinois, the Des Plaines Camera Club was formed in in 1952 by a group of individuals who shared an interest in photography. The club provides encouragement and education to members, to expand their interest in photography. We learn from one another, and have an outlet for our creative interests. Meetings include workshops, lectures and demonstrations in computer programs and digital photography, as well as club competition. The club is a member of The Chicago Area Camera Clubs Association, and participates in their monthly inter-club competition.
