DESCRIPTION:Members of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 3
 9-02 will teach a primer on boat safety geared for operators of small\, 
 manually powered boats.\n&nbsp\;\nThe Paddlesports America class is desi
 gned for canoists and kayakers.&nbsp\; Trained instructors from the US C
 oast Guard Auxiliary will teach you about your vessel\, including genera
 l information about paddlecraft\, courtesy on the water\, and regulation
 s that must be followed. Also included are descriptions of basic boat ha
 ndling\, what equipment should be on board\, and what causes boating mis
 haps and how to minimize them.\n&nbsp\;This four hour course will be off
 ered Saturday\, April 28\, 2012 at Prairie Lakes Community Center\, 515 
 East Thacker Street in Des Plaines\, Il. The class will begin at 8:30 am
