About this column:

Each week we'll be asking Des Plaines residents a different question, from serious to absurd, and filming their responses.
This week on You Said it Des Plaines, we asked residents if they thought voting this Nov.2 was important and why.  We spoke to Nichole Torres, 22, a sales associate at L.A. Tan in Des Plaines, who gave a very animated response, Tina Peterson, 46, a homemaker, a gentleman who we think is a prankster because the name he gave us is awfully close to a candidate in this year's election and a few others. Let's hear what they have to say.
This week You said it Des Plaines asked "Are there any places in Des Plaines that you think are haunted?" We spoke to (in order of appearance) one gentleman who would only identify himself as "Hopeless Romantic," Christine Barnett, 20, an employee at Potbelly Sandwich Shop, 2695 Mannheim Road, Mike Camprissano, a 33-year-old construction worker, Jim Davidson, 48, an artist, Maine West seniors, Shannon O' Shea  and Justina Richard, Michelle Torres, 22, an employee at L.A. Tan and finally Bob Cooper, 26. Let's hear what they said.
This week, You said it Des Plaines, asked "What's the scariest or most exotic food you've ever eaten?" We found answers ranging from insects to animal anatomy. Watch the video to see how your neighbors answered.
