Parental Authority is the parent's calling to provide strong and purposeful leadership to their children.

There are two equally important elements in this concept:

First is the parents' acceptance of the responsibility to teach their children to live with and recognise true authority.

Second is the moral duty of the children to honor their parents. Whatever else they feel about them, whether it be gratitude or resentment, he or she must respect those who besides bringing them into the world were their teachers and guides. No child regardless of age should ever dishonor their parents; the mandate to honor is as universal as any duty.

Parents have a presumtive right to honor because they conceived and cared for us.

Honor is the moral thread that holds a family together so that all feelings, warm or cold, between parent and child can be enjoyed and/or endured with trust and respect.

From the day a child is born until the day his or her parents die their relationship reaches beyond the grave into memories which keep alive that relationship and the realization that everything changes except the moral duty to honor.
