Where is the Best Place to Have Taxes Prepared?

In this week’s Readers’ Choice we’re asking which are the best tax preparers.

The deadline for filing personal income tax returns is just around the corner. This year tax day falls on April 17, two days after the typical date due to April 15 being a Sunday, and the District of Columbia celebrating Emancipation Day on April 16.

This week we’re asking readers where is the best place to seek tax filing services. Please vote in the poll below, and click through on the name of your favorite so you can leave a review in our community directory. That way, future readers will be able to benefit from your wisdom when they're looking for financial advice.

There are many financial services providers in Des Plaines. Tell us which are your favorites in the comments below, and we’ll add it to this list.

Editor's Note: Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, as well as ratings and reviews in Patch's community directory. Comments on this article will help determine a winner if there is a tie. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch. Voting ends at 9 a.m. Friday.

As a senior, I get my taxes done at the Des Plaines library. The AARP sponsors the event and the best part about it is its FREE. I understand that there are other locations, such as senior centers, where this service is also provided at no cost. You do not have to be a member of AARP to participate.
