Three Men Charged With Battery
Men also face charges of resisting a peace officer and trespassing.
Three men were charged with battery after police responded to call about a fight at a residence on the 500 block of South Orchard Court, June 5.
Two of the victims, a mother and son, are residents of the home. The son was hosting a party when he said that three men whom he was not familiar with showed up to the event. As the evening progressed the three men allegedly became intoxicated and unruly, according to a police report. The son asked the men to leave and they allegedly became verbally abusive and refused.
The host said the men then knocked him down and began kicking and punching him. A friend tried to intervene and was struck in the head with a vodka bottle. The mother of the host tried to calm the situation and one of the men pushed her, according to the police report.
Police said that when they arrived they observed the three men fighting with guests. All three men had blood on their shirts, according to the police report.
Marcin Peter Sanetra, 25, of the 3800 block of Ruby Street in Schiller Park was charged with 5 counts of battery, resisting a peace officer and criminal trespass after he punched a police officer in the chest who tried to place him under arrest and kicked another officer after he was placed in handcuffs, according to the police report.
Peter Mocydlarz, 25, and Michael Mocydlarz, 23, both of the 100 block of East Northwest Highway in Des Plaines were charged with one count of battery, resisting a peace officer and criminal trespass to property after they failed to cooperate with police while being placed in handcuffs, according to the police report.
