Two days after a massive coastal storm caused record flooding in Ocean City, a tour of the island by helicopter shows the extent of the damage.

All Ocean City beaches from Corson's Inlet to Great Egg Harbor Inlet appear to have suffered extensive erosion — with dune systems completely wiped out at the north and south ends. Sand-covered streets show the reach of the ocean during the storm — the ocean met the bay throughout much of the southern end of the island.

The Ocean City Boardwalk and island homes and businesses appear to have escaped devastating damage, but they were not completely spared.

From smashed windows at the end of the Ocean City Music Pier to missing Boardwalk ramps to damaged beachfront homes, the storm did leave considerable damage.
