Storm Update: Half Of Des Plaines Without Power
Numerous branches and power lines are down, drive with caution.
Des Plaines officials are reporting that approximately half of the city is without power as of 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. ComEd crews are currently working to restore power in the area.
Residents are reminded to stay away from any down power lines and treat them as though they are live.
Des Plaines Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency said that public works and emergency crews will be working through the night.
