Police Describe Vehicle in fatal Hit-and-Run
Witnesses have come forward with a description of the vehicle that killed 17-year-old Choice Taylor.
Witnesses have come forward with a description of the vehicle that was involved in the accident that killed 17-year-old Choice Taylor on Algonquin Road Friday.
Police are looking for a dull red or maroon colored semi-tractor truck with no trailer. The vehicle had slowed down in westbound traffic and stopped at a stop sign on Third Avenue.
Witnesses say it appeared that Choice walked up to the rear of the vehicle and somehow became stuck by the rear tires and was run over when the vehicle pulled forward.
The driver stopped about a half a block up, exited the vehicle and inspected it for damage. It's possible that the driver was unaware that he had struck Choice.
The Taylor family is appreciative of this new information and just wants the driver to come forward.
Anyone with information should contact Des Plaines Police at 847-391-5400 or Crimestoppers at 847-699-STOP or text an anonymous tip beginning with the word "ICARE" to CRIMES (274637).

I wish the driver will be honest and turm himself into the police.
