I would like to honor my dear, wonderful, kind aunt, Dorothy Quatraro, who had breast cancer, had a mastectomy, survived another 20 years or so, and passed away in 2010. I remember her saying she appreciated the fact her husband "didn't mind that she didn't have the perfect body." Support is so important, right? Dorothy lived in Des Plaines from, I want to say about 1980 to about 2007, but that's a ballpark figure. She was always so hospitable, loving and a ton of fun. Love you, Aunt Dorothy!

To my wonderful sister, Pat, who passed away from breast cancer twelve years ago. She was my very best friend in the world and I miss her terribly.
