Monday Blotter: Porsche Scratched, Tire Slashed, More

The Des Plaines Police Department provided the following reports.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

The driver’s and passenger’s doors on a Porsche were scratched, or keyed, in the 100 block of Dover Drive sometime between 10 p.m. on July 15 and 7:27 a.m. on July 16, police stated.

The owner told police, according to the report, earlier, a male subject accused him of creating a “door ding” on his older model Jaguar with Hawaii license plates. Property loss was estimated at $1,000.

Criminal Damage to Vehicle

The driver’s side front tire of a vehicle parked at a residence in the 100 block of Dover Drive was slashed sometime between 12:30 p.m. on July 14 and 1:20 p.m. on July 15, police stated. Property loss was estimated at $150.

Burglary

A 10-inch Bosch brand table saw was reported stolen from a residence garage in the 1400 block of E. Willow Avenue sometime between 5 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on July 6. Property loss was estimated at $700.
