Des Plaines Road Construction Updates Week of Oct. 8

The following road construction updates were published on the City of Des Plaines’ website. All work is weather dependent. Unknown utilities and conflicts may also cause delays. Click here to for all the construction updates for Des Plaines.

Alley between Ashland & Oakwood, and between Center & White: The estimated date the alley will be open to vehicle traffic is Friday, Oct. 12.

Cora Street from Oakwood to Algonquin: The city is waiting for AT&T to adjust the height of their utility manhole on Cora. The city cannot pave the surface layer of asphalt pavement until this is completed.

Wolf Road from Thacker and Dempster to Rose: Pavement striping will be performed in the near future.

Everett Avenue from Plainfield to Dexter: Pavement striping will be performed in the near future.
