Des Plaines Rivers Casino far outpaced other casinos in Illinois during its first year of operation.

The Des Plaines Rivers Casino generated $416 million in revenue in 2012, making it easily Illinois' top casino, according to the Illinois Gaming Board.
The next closest casino to Rivers was Elgin's Grand Victoria which had $212.4 million in adjusted gross receipts. Rivers accounted for about a quarter of the $1.6 billion in adjusted gross receipts generated by the the state's 10 casinos.
Rivers had more than 3.9 million visitors, about double that of the second most frequented casino – Joliet Harrah's.

That is the reason why you should not gamble to any slot machines in this casino... They are programmed for you to loose... I was there last new years eve 2013... Almost everyone who played the slot machines loosed... Don't be another victim.

I've been to their buffet many times.... Though the service is good, the food is always the same... Nothing change... Sometimes, the food is not that juicy or delicious anymore since its been left for a long time... Its also expensive. I promised myself not to come back to this casino anymore... I rather spend my money playing lotto..lol.
