Des Plaines Man Sentenced 50 Years for Murder

A little more than a year after murder charges were filed against James Galambos, 19, of Des Plaines, for the death of a 15-year-old boy and injuring another on Chicago’s far north side, Galambos was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the crime, the Daily Herald reported.
In addition to the first-degree murder charge, Galambos was sentenced to 26 years for charges related to the injured boy.
