Des Plaines Hires Chicago Law Firm
The firm will replace the city attorney, who retired in July, the Daily Herald reported.
The City of Des Plaines hired Chicago law firm Holland & Knight to replace Dave Wiltse, the city’s attorney who retired in July, the Daily Herald reported. Peter Friedman from the firm will serve as Des Plaines’ main attorney.
Wiltse worked for Des Plaines for 18 years and announced his retirement in March. Wiltse said a number of considerations went into his decision to retire, including Sen. Mark Kirk’s stroke earlier this year, his desire to complete a book about the Civil War and spread the Gospel.
