Gambling at the airports? Why stop there. How about slots inside the CTA busses, ballparks,or on the beach. The dumming of America continues,

If this happens, it's about time. People from Illinois have been going to other states to gamble (including myself at Horseshoe in Indiana). Why let other states get our business when we can have it right here? Chicago is the perfect place to have it and it will do quite well. If you don't like gambling, then don't go..nobody is forcing you.

Every community in Illinois should have it's own casino. So the tax revenue stays in the community we live in. I hope the Rivers Casino does real well in Des Plaines.

By fighting against the casino expansion bill, is the major encouraging anti competitive tactics in order to protect revenues for his own casino? Though it will likely affect the revenue at the Rivers Casino, it could also be a good chance for them to step up and improve their service to attract new customers.
