The Des Plaines Public Library sold its bookmobile bus for $15,000 through an auction company in May, TribLocal reported.
Earlier: Four new properties were listed in foreclosure in the zip codes 60016 and 60018 since last week.
The library has faced budget problems in the past, and the board discussed charging for meeting room usage on several occasions, most recently in May, Journal and Topics Newspapers reported.
