Bar Liquor License Suspended After Drugs Sold to Undercover Agent
Multiple drug charges filed against Des Plaines woman, man.
Mayor Martin Moylan, as the liquor commissioner, suspended Stadium Sports Club and Bar’s liquor license on June 8 after a waitress reportedly sold narcotics to an undercover agent, Journal and Topics Newspapers reported. A sign posted on the front door of the sports bar, 769 Holiday Lane, stated it would re-open on June 13.
It has been a tough year for the sports bar. In January, a grease fire broke out at the establishment with a preliminary estimated property loss of $4,500.
