Where were the adults when this boy was swimming? No 4 year old should ever be left in a pool alone or without an adult... I'm guessing the adults were not around or this could have been avoided.

Did this happen over the weekend? It definitely was not warm enough to be swimming. I know all too well how quickly something like this can happen. My son almost drowned in a pool with 3 adults(myself included) in the pool with him. We were distracted by the other kids showing us their "tricks" when I heard my friend's son calling out my son's name. I will NEVER get that image out of my head. My friend dove in fully clothed to save him. Things like this can happen in an instant, it's so scary. That's why my kids have life jackets or floaties on all the time.
