Des Plaines area band Storm the Front emerged victorious at the 2^nd Annual Battle of the Bands held at the Des Plaines Public Library Friday July 6^th.  More that a hundred fans braved 100+ degree temps to cheer on and vote on the group that best rocks Des Plaines.  Second place went to Serendipty.  Battle of the Bands was cosponsored by Friends of the Library and the Des Plaines Teen Center.  Check out a gallery of all contestants at facebook.com/DPLibrary.
