The Des Plaines Public Works and Engineering Department has received notification regarding two street resurfacing projects:

The Cook County Highway Department will oversee the resurfacing of Mt. Prospect Road, from Northwest Highway to Central Road, beginning April 23, 2012 to July, 2012.

The Illinois Department of Transportation is currently resurfacing Mannheim Road, from Prospect Road to Higgins Road, and is expected to complete the project by July, 2012.

Motorists are advised to observe signage and proceed with caution in the construction areas.
