Thank you to the hundreds of Maine Township residents who dropped off 285 pounds of expired, unwanted and unused medications at the Des Plaines, Niles and Park Ridge Police Stations on September 29th for Medication Take Back Day.

Removing medications from the home helps reduce access for young people, eliminate abuse, and keep our water supply clean from improper disposal.

The event was sponsored by MCYAF, your local Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
