Saturday’s Maine Township annual food drive marks 10 years of such efforts by Township officials ably assisted by Maine Twp. Office of Emergency Management (OEM).The latest of three drives held in December was at the Des Plaines Shop ‘N Save. Food and financial donations were collected to support the township’s Emergency Food Pantry which helps feed hundreds of needy families every month.
