Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Do you have a garage full of old bikes??

Would you like to buy or sell?

Bicyclists who have outgrown their bikes can head to Forest Elementary School later this month for a group sale that will help The Forest Elementary PTC raise money.

Cyclists can set their price and sell their reasonably-working bicycles, Burleys, trailer bikes, tandems and trikes in the parking lot of Forest Elementary, 1375 Fifth Avenue, between 4 and 7 p.m. April 27 and 8 to 9:30 a.m. April 28.

You do not need to bring a bike to buy one.  Come and browse after 11am.

A $5 to $10 fee will be charged to sellers, only if the bike(s) are sold. Unsold bikes can be collected after the event between 2 and 3 p.m. April 28.

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital will sell helmets for $10 a piece between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. April 28. Organizers encourage bicyclists to bring their own helmets that need adjusting.

To make drop-off arrangements or for information, contact Tom Olsen at tourdevillas.com <http://http//tourdevillas.com/>  or 847-271-7033. Bikes left behind after 3 p.m. April 28 will become the property of the Forest Parent Teacher Committee and donated to charity.
