Several portraits took top honors at the Des Plaines Camera Club's final competition for the 2011-2012 season, and will go on to compete in the Chicago Area Camera Clubs Association Competitions over the next two months.  In the Digital Images category, Jane Ballangee took us back to the Old West with her portrait "Cowboy" which took Image of the Month for April.  Theresa Hart's lovely "Ballerina in Profile" was awarded Image of the Month for May.   Awards for DPI also went to John Kowalyk, Tom Vincent, Jeanne Garrett, and Sue Lindell.  John Kowalyk also swept the Print category.  His "Eyedrop View" and portrait of "Charlie" were named Prints of the month for April and May.
